Position: Maintenance Officer (FMCG – Biscuits/Bakery/Food)
We’re hiring a Maintenance Officer with a strong background in the FMCG sector to join our high-performing team at Britannia Industries Ltd., Ranjangaon.
Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation
- OR Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Experience:
- 6–8 years for B.Tech graduates
- 8–10 years for Diploma holders in the FMCG industry
CTC: ₹4 – ₹7.65 LPA (Based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute preventive maintenance plans to ensure machine availability and meet production targets
- Manage and maintain optimal inventory of critical spare parts
- Address and close safety and food safety (HACCP) audit points
- Monitor and report on M&R, power, water, and HSD consumption
- Manage budgets and AMCs for critical machinery
- Drive implementation of TPM, 5S, AIB, ISO 22000 & ISO 45001 standards
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and spares
- Analyze breakdowns and implement cost-effective downtime reduction solutions
- Uphold food safety compliance and hygiene in all maintenance operations
- Lead automation initiatives and technology upgrades to boost efficiency
