Qualifications:
- Graduation
- 2-4 years of experience in logistics/shipping industry
Responsibilities:
- Generating invoices for dispatches of goods
- Managing supply chain logistics for goods from various locations across India
- Negotiating transportation costs and ensuring goods safety with new transporters
- Coordinating with warehouse in-charge to ensure proper loading of goods onto vehicles
- Storing goods in warehouse according to policies
- Following FIFO method for dispatching goods
- Maintaining batch-wise stocks at different locations and communicating updates to management
- Tracking pending orders and dispatches, generating E-way bills
- Managing sales and purchase files, reconciling physical stocks monthly
- Communicating with customers for timely unloading of materials
- Handling preparation and filing of insurance claims for damages or transit issues
