Designation: Manager – Quality Assurance
Qualification: Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, Biology, Microbiology
Preferred Industry: Hotels & Restaurants
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 8 years of applicable experience.

Expertise: Detailed knowledge and a track record of successful implementation of food manufacturing policies and procedures (GMP).
Certifications: Certification and training in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
Skills: Excellent knowledge of HACCP and the proven ability to write HACCP plans.

Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Policies: Ensure that all food products meet quality and safety standards.
Conduct Audits and Inspections: Regularly audit and inspect food production processes and facilities to ensure compliance with GMP and HACCP guidelines.
Training and Development: Provide training to staff on quality assurance protocols and HACCP principles.
Monitor Production Processes: Oversee the entire production process to ensure consistent product quality and safety.
Handle Customer Complaints: Investigate and resolve any quality issues or complaints from customers.
Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of quality assurance activities, inspections, and audits.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the production and procurement teams to ensure that quality standards are met at every stage of the supply chain.
