What Makes This Role Meaty?
As a Food Tech Intern, you will:
- Assist in generating new product ideas and recipes in collaboration with the Culinary Team.
- Support team efforts to modify and improve existing recipes.
- Contribute to process design and scaling up recipes for large-scale production.
- Identify and coordinate with vendors for new ingredients, machinery, or lab services.
- Perform physicochemical and microbial analysis.
- Conduct sensory evaluationsand document insights for new and existing products.
- Work on recipe management software.
- Validate products according to FSSAI regulations.
- Coordinate product shelf-life studies.
- Prepare reports and presentations on studies, visits, and trials.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and software.
- Travel up to 20%, including visits to Licious/OEM locations, vendor sites, and other operational areas.
What We Hope You Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science or Food Processing Technology.
- Preferably some experience in the food industry.
- Basic skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Sheets.
- Foundational knowledge of FSSAI regulations and sensory evaluation.
