Job Opening: Quality Assurance Executive (Chemist and Microbiologist) – Ice Cream Factory, Pune
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Executive (Chemist and Microbiologist) for our Ice Cream factory located in Pune. This role offers a competitive salary of ₹4-6 Lacs per annum.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in the Ice Cream industry is mandatory.
- Shift Management: Ability to manage lab functions across different shifts.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work in 3 shifts.
- Food Safety Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular quality control tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety standards and regulations.
- Managing and maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring calibration and maintenance schedules are followed.
- Supervising and training lab technicians and other staff members on quality assurance procedures.
- Developing and implementing quality assurance protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Investigating and resolving any quality issues or non-conformities that arise during production.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all quality control tests and inspections.
- Collaborating with production and management teams to address quality-related concerns and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
