About the Nashik Plant

The Nashik facility supports:

  • Retail cake mixes (India & international markets)
  • India bakeries business
  • Food service chains (frozen tortilla, frozen dough)
  • Ready-to-eat snacks (e.g., Choco Lava cakes)
  • Frozen flatbreads for export

Purpose of the Role

The FSQ Executive will ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, food safety, and continuous improvement across plant operations while working in rotational shifts (A/B/C). This role requires close collaboration with platform, operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & develop FSQ technicians and support supplier quality.
  • Drive leadership in sanitation, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and FSRA.
  • Support quality systems, new product trials, reformulations, and HMM projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement and root-cause analysis.
  • Manage non-conforming product, investigate risks, and prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct sensory evaluation, online verification, traceability checks, and process audits.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSMA, FSSC/GFSI standards.
  • Provide technical training in food safety, applied statistics, regulatory requirements, and quality systems.
  • Lead FSQ programs: allergens, PEMP, FSRA, weight program, Food Safety Team, etc.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet specifications and consumer requirements.
  • Manage communication, daily observations, audits, and hold & release processes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, product quality, regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement, statistics, problem-solving
  • Mechanical aptitude & ability to troubleshoot
  • Excellent communication, collaboration & leadership skills
