Position Overview
We are seeking a Food & Beverage Controller to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring effective cost management and inventory control in our food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize profitability while upholding high standards in food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Oversee procurement, storage, and issuance of food and beverage inventory to minimize waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
Cost Analysis: Analyze food and beverage costs, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and manage ingredient pricing and sales trends.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing financial forecasts and budgets, focusing on food and beverage profit margins and cost projections.
Menu Collaboration: Work with the culinary team to design cost-effective menu options that meet customer expectations.
Vendor Management: Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing.
Internal Controls: Implement procedures to manage inventory and prevent unauthorized use or theft.
Cost-Saving Initiatives: Lead initiatives such as portion control and waste reduction to enhance profitability.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on costs, inventory, and profitability for management review.
Training & Development: Conduct training on inventory management and cost control best practices.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, preferably in food production or hospitality.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication abilities.
