Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and create innovative flavors for various food and beverage products, considering market trends, consumer preferences, and brand objectives.
Conduct research and experiments to identify and evaluate new ingredients, flavor combinations, and emerging technologies to enhance flavor profiles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including NPD, Production, and Quality Assurance, to align flavor development with product concepts and specifications.
Create flavor prototypes and conduct sensory evaluations to assess taste, aroma, and overall consumer acceptance.
Maintain a library of flavor formulations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay updated with trends, advancements, and regulations in the flavor industry to guide innovation and compliance efforts.
Contribute to flavor-related research projects, studies, and collaborations to expand the company’s flavor capabilities and knowledge base.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of flavor chemistry, ingredients, and formulation principles.
Creativity and ability to translate consumer preferences into appealing and innovative flavor profiles.
Proficiency in sensory evaluation techniques and data analysis for flavor optimization.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control principles in relation to flavor.
Familiarity with flavor creation software and tools is a plus
