Are you passionate about creating innovative and delicious flavors for the food & beverage industry? IFF, a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, is looking for a dedicated Flavorist, Sweet to join their Creation & Design (C&D) team in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
About the Role: As a Flavorist, you will contribute to crafting great-tasting products by working on exciting flavor and sweet product projects. You’ll collaborate with internal and external teams, proactively evaluate raw materials, and drive the use of new technologies to create innovative flavor solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently and within project teams, develop winning flavors while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proactively assess new raw materials and explore their potential for future flavor creation.
Collaborate with both internal and external customers, fostering strong, trusting relationships.
Demonstrate creativity and innovation, using IFF technologies to provide flavor solutions.
Lead and support the use of new technologies in flavor creations.
Work closely with manufacturing and operations to ensure smooth development and commercialization processes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s (or preferably Master’s) Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the flavor industry, particularly in flavor creation and application within the Sweet Category.
Strong technical know-how in flavor creation, raw materials, and chemical processes.
Experience in a B2B or B2C environment with a focus on flavor innovation.
Exceptional customer relations, project management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
