Job Summary
As a Flavorist at IFF, you will work on some of the most exciting projects in the flavor and sweet products industry today, contributing to creating great tasting products.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop winning flavors.
Evaluate new raw materials for potential use in new flavor creations.
Partner with internal and external customers to build strong relationships.
Drive innovation and creativity, maximizing IFF technologies for flavor solutions.
Lead the use of new technologies in flavor creations.
Ensure smooth development from bench to batch during commercialization.
Build trusted partnerships with key customers to understand requirements.
Leverage global and regional networks to enhance technical knowledge.
Understand regional market preferences and create flavors accordingly.
Presentation & Development Skills
Deliver effective presentations in various settings (one-on-one, small/large groups).
Manage group processes during presentations.
Commit to continuous self-improvement, deploying strengths to overcome weaknesses.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
5-6 years of experience in flavor creation and applications within the Sweet category.
Strong technical know-how in flavor innovation and development.
Experience in building customer relations and leading technical projects.
Familiarity with Sweet product market trends.
