Role: Factory Manager
Reporting to: Chief Manufacturing Officer
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end factory operations and ensure production targets are achieved on time and within budget
• Plan and control production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory requirements
• Lead and develop production teams to drive efficiency, performance, and engagement
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Maintain high-quality manufacturing standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM)
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, QA/QC, maintenance, and HR for smooth plant operations
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Optimize utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery
• Prepare production reports, cost analysis, and key KPI dashboards for senior management
• Drive automation and digital initiatives to enhance productivity and transparency

Key Qualifications
8–15 years of experience in manufacturing operations within FMCG or Dairy
Proven experience managing factory operations and large teams
Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, cost control, and lean manufacturing practices
Familiarity with regulatory compliance including FSSAI and other statutory requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
