Hiring: Executive / Sr. Executive – Rice Processing

Location: Kotturu, Srikakulam (Andhra Pradesh, India)
Job Purpose
We are looking for a dedicated Executive / Sr. Executive – Rice Processing to oversee day-to-day rice processing operations, ensuring optimum quality, yield, and efficiency. This role involves monitoring plant performance, ensuring compliance with quality & safety standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for smooth production flow.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Process Monitoring
- Supervise all stages of rice processing: cleaning, de-husking, polishing, grading, packaging.
- Monitor key process parameters to maintain quality and reduce wastage.
- Maintain daily production logs and process records.
Quality Control
- Ensure rice quality meets both internal and customer standards (moisture, whiteness, broken %, etc.).
- Coordinate with QC for regular sampling/testing.
- Identify and correct deviations in process quality.
Machine & Plant Operations
- Ensure smooth functioning of processing equipment (dehuskers, polishers, graders, color sorters).
- Report breakdowns and support preventive maintenance.
- Optimize machine settings for efficiency and reduced losses.
People Management
- Supervise operators, helpers, and contract labor.
- Ensure adherence to work discipline, safety norms, and shift schedules.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records for production, yield, and rejections.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Support traceability and audit documentation as per company standards.
Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI/GMP and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain hygiene standards and oversee pest-control activities.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of rice milling & grading operations
- Knowledge of milling equipment and process parameters
- Good analytical & problem-solving abilities
- Team handling & shift management
- Good computer skills (Excel, ERP knowledge preferred)
- Understanding of quality systems (HACCP, ISO, GMP)
Qualification & Experience
- Education: Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in Food Technology, Agriculture
- Experience: 2–5 years in rice processing / grain processing / milling industry
- Languages: Telugu, Hindi, and English
- Designation: Executive / Sr. Executive
