About the Job

The Executive Quality Assurance role focuses on improving organizational performance and ensuring sustained success by maintaining quality standards. The goal is to ensure customer satisfaction while minimizing costs associated with defects.


Key Responsibilities

Manage Plant Quality Assurance (PQA) processes at plant and subcontract locations.

Drive Q-certification through quality systems documentation, team training, and implementation audits.

Maintain consistent quality in supplies from Raw Material (RM) and Packaging Material (PM) vendors by monitoring performance and enforcing systems.

Implement Marico’s Quality Management System (QMS) as per guidelines, including process mapping, SOP formulation, and standardizing formats.

Ensure smooth integration of QMS and 3M modules in SAP.

Recruit and groom PQA team members for higher responsibilities.

Adhere to legal norms and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as FDA, AGMARK, PFA, and others.

Promote and implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, and Laboratory Standardization at plant and subcontract units.


Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.Tech. (Food Technology/Bio-Chemical Engineering) or B.Sc./M.Sc. (Food Technology).

Experience: 2–7 years, preferably in an FMCG industry.


Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

Proficiency in computer applications.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Basic knowledge of TPM, 5S, and Food Safety.
