Position Overview:
Diageo India is hiring for a Senior Executive – Quality to join their team in Aurangabad. This role offers the chance to contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in the production process while promoting a culture of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate should have a background in Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or DIFAT, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in FMCG industries such as distilleries, breweries, beverages, or food industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure quality control for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Conduct internal quality audits (GMP, GRMS, and SQIP).
Handle government authority audits and ensure compliance (FSSAI, LMR, and Excise).
Oversee quality checks for incoming and online processes and maintain SAP records.
Promote GMP/GLP, GSP, GHP, and 5S practices.
Manage training and development of shop floor staff.
Liaise with vendors regarding rejection handling and product development.
Ensure the calibration and maintenance of lab instruments and external laboratory sampling.
Skills & Qualifications:
Degree/Postgraduate in Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or DIFAT.
At least 2 years of experience in the FMCG sector.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of QMS and FSMS systems.
Capability to handle challenges with a proactive and quick learning attitude.
