Role Overview: Dairy Technologist
In this role, you will play a key part in THW’s dairy operations by ensuring product quality, optimizing processes, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations. You will collaborate closely with production and R&D teams to develop and maintain exceptional dairy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control & Assurance:
- Conduct routine quality checks on raw milk and dairy products.
- Implement and monitor food safety standards (FSSAI, HACCP, ISO).
- Dairy Processing & Innovation:
- Oversee milk processing, pasteurization, and product formulation.
- Work with R&D to develop new dairy products.
- Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to dairy industry regulations.
- Maintain detailed reports on quality and production performance.
- Production Optimization:
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Work with plant operations to maintain a smooth production flow.
- Hygiene & Safety Oversight:
- Enforce hygiene and sanitation best practices across the plant.
- Train staff on dairy handling and safety protocols.
- Customer Focus & Sustainability:
- Align production with market demand in collaboration with sales and marketing.
- Support sustainability initiatives, including eco-friendly packaging and waste reduction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 1-3 years in dairy technology, quality assurance, or production.
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Dairy Technology, Dairy Science, Food Technology, or Microbiology.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of dairy processing, quality control, and regulatory standards.
- Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with dairy testing equipment and quality management tools.
- Proactive Attitude: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
