About the Role:
Mannheim Craft Brewery is looking for an experienced and dynamic Coffee Quality and Development Specialist to join our innovative team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the superior quality of our coffee products while leading the development of new coffee and non-coffee beverages. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Management:

Assess and maintain the quality of green coffee beans, roasted coffee, and blends.

Implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and excellence.

  1. Roasting and Profiling:

Conduct coffee roasting and profiling to achieve desired flavor profiles.

Develop and refine roasting profiles for coffee blends and single-origin beans.

  1. New Product Development (NPD):

Lead the development of innovative coffee and non-coffee beverages.

Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for new products.

Collaborate with teams to bring new products from concept to market.

  1. Coffee Workshops:

Design and deliver coffee workshops to educate cus tomers, partners, and internal teams.

Develop workshop curriculum on coffee quality, brewing techniques, and industry trends.

  1. Training:

Provide comprehensive training on new products and coffee knowledge to staff and partners.

Update training materials to reflect the latest offerings and practices.

  1. Audit and Quality Assurance:

Conduct audits across all locations to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Identify and address any quality issues or inconsistencies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in coffee quality control, roasting, and profiling.

Strong background in new product development, including SOP creation and training content.

Experience in designing and delivering educational workshops.

Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification from a recognized coffee association (e.g., SCA, Coffee Board of India).

Leadership experience in the coffee industry.

Knowledge of industry trends and emerging coffee technologies.
