PepsiCo is expanding its Europe R&D Food Safety team and is hiring an Associate Manager in Hyderabad, Telangana.
Role Overview:
You will support food safety expertise for ingredient specifications, supplier approvals, and compliance with PepsiCo Food Safety Standards. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and global suppliers to ensure fit-for-purpose ingredient specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct food safety risk assessments
• Manage and update ingredient specifications
• Review supplier food safety documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers
• Ensure timely processing and system uploads (SAP/Teams)
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
• Strong understanding of Food Safety & HACCP (minimum L2)
• Knowledge of food microbiology, allergens, and food legislation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
