About the Role:
As the Assistant QA Manager, you will ensure that all food products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, and ISO 22000. You’ll manage quality systems, lead audits, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to deliver excellence at every stage of production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 standards.
- Conduct quality checks, in-process inspections, and audits.
- Maintain quality documentation and manage non-conformances.
- Oversee hygiene and sanitation practices across the plant.
- Lead CAPA implementation and address customer complaints.
- Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain teams.
- Conduct training on food safety, hygiene, and SOPs.
- Drive quality improvements and waste reduction initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field.
Experience: 3–8 years in QA/QC within FMCG, Food Processing, or QSR industry.
Skills: ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, FSSAI, Documentation, CAPA, MS Office, QMS.
