Assistant Manager – SC QC|PepsiCo India
Role Overview
This role is responsible for managing regulatory compliances, shop floor process controls, and continual improvement initiatives. You’ll serve as a key quality lead at the site, supporting both plant manufacturing and the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, SAP inspection plans, and label standards.
- Provide quality and food safety consultation to plant and supply chain teams.
- Drive Quality GCS controls and lead innovation support from QC.
- Maintain >90% compliance in quality training with HR coordination.
- Ensure updated documentation in DMF & DMS systems.
- Conduct and lead monthly quality audits and system meetings.
- Coordinate with auditing bodies (AIBI, FSSC22000).
- Manage food safety crisis plans and FSMS status reporting.
- Implement and monitor Change Control and Label Compliance programs.
- Support e-1CE complaint closures and innovation reviews.

Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Food or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of Food Safety & Quality programs.
- Certified Food Safety Lead Auditorpreferred.
