About the Job
Position: Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance (Level 6A)
Qualification:
Post Graduate or Graduate (preferably in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or DIFAT).
Lead auditor experience is preferred.
Experience:
5 to 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Systems, especially in Food Processing, FMCG, Distillery, Brewery, or Beverage Industries.

Skills and Knowledge:
Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and Audits
Proficient in Quality Management Systems (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000)
Experience in developing SOPs for quality control
Knowledge of Distillery Raw Material analysis and GC handling
Familiar with SAP and Microsoft Office
Good communication, coaching, and presentation skills
Experience in Process Distillery with Packaging is an added advantage
Knowledge in sensory analysis and panel development
Strong project management and lab management experience
Top Accountabilities
Develop and monitor laboratory and process control procedures to ensure food safety and quality.
Ensure all materials meet Diageo and Indian regulatory standards.
Implement process confirmations for material inspections and prevent quality deterioration.
Set and track material quality performance targets.
Lead root cause analysis for material complaints and ensure supplier compliance.
Execute HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 45001, and EHS activities, driving improvements in quality and safety.
Manage material quality incidents and ensure responsible executives are informed.
Ensure effective traceability and compliance at all stages of the process.
