Exciting opportunity to join Caldic, a global leader in specialty ingredient distribution, as an Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance at our Manufacturing Plant in Taloja, MIDC (Navi Mumbai).
Role Overview
The position focuses on supporting and maintaining Food Safety and Quality Systems including FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, Kosher, Halal, and EcoVadis, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer standards.
Location: Taloja, MIDC – Navi Mumbai
Work Mode: Onsite
Working Days: 6 days/week
Key Responsibilities • Maintain and implement Food Safety & Quality Management Systems
• Conduct internal audits for QMS & FSMS
• Manage product documentation and raw material CoA review
• Handle testing of raw materials and finished products
• Support QA processes, documentation updates, and compliance
• Conduct training on food safety, hygiene, and HACCP
• Participate in external audits (FSSC 22000, HACCP, Kosher, Halal)
• Manage equipment calibration and lab testing programs
• Address and resolve customer complaints with internal teams
Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance | Caldic
Requirements • MSc / B.Tech in Food Science, Bio Sciences, or Chemistry
• 4+ years of QA experience in Food or Nutraceutical Manufacturing
• Knowledge of QA/QC systems and regulatory standards
• FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor certification preferred
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
