Role Description – Area Sales Manager (ASM)As an ASM, you will be responsible for managing primaryand secondary sales, developing distributor and retailernetworks, achieving sales targets, and executingpromotional strategies in your assigned region.
G Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the sales network in the assignedterritory
- Appoint and manage distributors, wholesalers, and keyretailers
- Monitor primary & secondary sales and ensure targetachievement
- Conduct regular market visits to track performance andidentifv onnortiunities
- Lead and train field sales representatives for bettermarket execution
- Ensure visibility and product availability across retailpoints
- Coordinate with the HO team for planning, stockmanagement, and promotions
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends
VQualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales(preferably food products/ghee/oil/ dairy)
- Strong knowledge of the local market, distributorecosystem, and sales channels
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and teanmmanagement
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadershipskills
- Self-motivated and result-oriented
