We are excited to announce that we are looking for a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Area Sales Manager – Modern Trade for the Gujarat region, based in Ahmedabad.

Position: Area Sales Manager – Modern Trade

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

Managing MT Business Plans: Develop and implement business plans for modern trade (MT) customers in Gujarat, focusing on volume, share, and profitability.
Terms of Trade: Develop, negotiate, sell, and execute optimal terms of trade with the help of the manager, ensuring compliance.
Store Management: Manage range, assortment, space, visibility, and chilling infrastructure placement at designated customer stores.
Business Reviews: Conduct periodic business reviews with customer HQ teams, using scan/shipment data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
Promotion Calendars: Develop and execute appropriate advertising and promotion calendars with customers, including cost-effective promotions, feature ads, and new product introductions.

Stock Management: Maintain out-of-stock levels on shelves to <=5% and ensure visibility standards.
Financial Management: Support the finance team to ensure timely payments and periodic account reconciliation.
Field Support: Assist the field team in achieving best-in-class execution and support new product launches in line with organizational goals.

Requirements:

Education: Post Graduate – MBA
Experience: 9 to 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG/Retail industry.
Skills: Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing modern trade operations.
