Job Opening: Application Team Leader – Bakery
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India
Are you passionate about food ingredients and bakery innovations? We are looking for a dedicated Application Team Leader – Bakery to join a global leader in food ingredients and taste. As an integral part of our team, you will manage bakery projects and lead initiatives that enhance our bakery solutions for customers across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead bakery projects to develop new solutions or modify existing products, recipes, and processes.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to translate innovations, consumer insights, and market trends into customer solutions.
- Provide technical support, knowledge, and expertise in bakery applications using emulsifiers, hydrocolloids, enzymes, and other functional ingredients.
- Run laboratory trials, offer timely responses, and ensure cost-effective, detailed technical support.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and efficient work environment while ensuring compliance with IFF policies.
- Mentor and guide team members, contributing to the company’s continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent IFF at conferences, exhibitions, and meetings, sh aring expertise with internal and external customers.
- Lead and manage technical projects with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Food Technology or a related field.
- 10-12 years of experience in bakery product development (Breads, Cakes, Biscuits, etc.) in the food manufacturing or ingredients industry.
- Experience in team management is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of emulsifiers, hydrocolloids, and bakery processing.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Technical problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel within the India Subcontinent region.
